Warranty

Minno Creek Knife and Tool warrants this product against manufacturing defects for the period of one year subject to the following provisions. The warranty period commences on the date of purchase. Your original purchase receipt or tax invoice, showing the date of purchase of the product is your proof of the date of purchase. If within the warranty period a defect is discovered in the product as a result of some defect in the material or workmanship in the product, then Minno Creek Knife and Tool will, at its option, repair the product at no cost to the consumer or supply an identical replacement product, or a newer version of the product if superseded.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage within 1 year of purchase. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty does not cover any failure resulting from inappropriate use, misuse, negligence, accident or act of God, the product being operated in any way contrary to any operating or maintenance instructions, improper handling or maintenance, or where products have been altered or modified, or from general wear and tear.

In order to make a claim under this warranty, you must return the product in its original packaging together with all accessories, instructions, specifications or other material supplied with the product to Minno Creek Knife and Tool at the address below, accompanied by a notice in writing describing the defect and setting out your contact details.

Minno Creek Knife and Tool will examine any returned product and if it is determined that the product is defective through no fault of yours, Minno Creek Knife and Tool will repair or replace the product in accordance with the warranty.

Minno Creek Knife and Tool will not accept a returned product unless it has been returned strictly in accordance with this warranty.

You are responsible for all costs of returning and redelivery of the product (whether an original or repaired and/or replacement product) and any other expenses you incur in claiming under the warranty. Minno Creek Knife and Tool will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the product occurring while the product is in transit (either on return to Minno Creek Knife and Tool or upon redelivery to you of the original or repaired and/or replacement product).

The benefits to you given by this warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.
